Nearly one year ago, on November 2017, IDEAL – a project funded by the
Erasmus plus programme – has begun, involving a partnership of 7 partners from 6 different countries (Spain, the Netherlands, Greece, Italy, Romania, and United Kingdom). As it was already mentioned here, IDEAL’s main objectives revolve around helping educators, teachers, and trainers in (in)formal education around digital education and promoting digital literacy, skills and inclusion for both teachers and learners.
Developing the project’s activities, the Consortium identified 25 tools one may easily find online. These tools help and simplifies both teachers’ and learners’ work in different areas: i) preparation ii) presentation iii) interaction iv) assessment. After having classified and described these software, each partner has carefully reviewed the selected ones, eventually gathering feedback from actual users. Eurocrea analysed 4 tools – 1 for presentation, 1 for interaction, and 2 for assessment. A worth-to-be-mentioned fact is that part of the Eurocrea’s team has even used one of them – Poll Everywhere – for an interactive activity during a workshop, basically putting into practice the very goal of the project: bringing digital tools into the classroom and enhancing innovative teaching practice.
The IDEAL platform will gather all the contributions of the partners, along with the materials and resources developed, which will be available for download, adaptable and, in turn, shareable.
