HILLARY EU PROJECT, NEWS ABOUT
- On 08/07/2018
Do you know how to combine female entrepreneurship, studies in humanities and crowd-sourcing?
In the EU women constitute 52% of the total European population but only 34.4% of the EU self-employed and 30% of start-up entrepreneurs. Female creativity and entrepreneurial potential are an underexploited source of economic growth and jobs that should be further developed[1].
Hillary, the Online Community to Foster Female Entrepreneurship, wants to call the attention to the fact that there is a big need to do much more in order to put women entrepreneurs first. By its innovative approach to entrepreneurship, the Hillary community support female students close to graduation to transform their innovative ideas into business opportunity thanks to the support of the crowd on the online platform Babele. A lack of network and knowledge resources are ones of the main challenges that female entrepreneurs face once starting a business idea.
